The Art Linkletter Natatorium at Springfield College is the finest diving facility in Western Massachusetts. It features two 1-meter and two 3-meter diving boards, a 3-meter line-up platform, a trampoline, and a dry land diving board equipped with overhead spotting harness. The water depth is 12 1/2 feet.
No need to worry about trying those new dives! We'll strap you up in the belt and eliminate the fear of trying something new!
DIRECTIONS TO THE ART LINKLETTER NATATORIUMFrom the east or west: Mass Pike (I-90) to Exit 6. Turn left onto I-291west. Proceed 1 mile to Exit 5 "East Springfield/Indian Orchard". Turn right at the end of the ramp onto 20A, then
immediately get into the left lane. Turn left at the first light onto
Roosevelt Ave. Proceed 3 miles to Alden St. and turn right (bottom of a hill and
just before small bridge). Natatorium is ½ mile down on right side. Parking is
available in the large lot preceding the pool. From the north: I-91 south to Springfield I-291 eastbound. Proceed 4 miles to Exit 5B "East Springfield / 20A west". Turn right at the end of the ramp onto 20A, then
immediately get into the left lane. Turn left at the first light onto
Roosevelt Ave. Proceed 3 miles to Alden St. and turn right (bottom of a hill and
just before small bridge). Natatorium is ½ mile down on right side. Parking is
available in the large lot preceding the pool. Proceed to 2nd light, take right onto "Sumner Avenue". After approximately 2 miles, turn left onto "Roosevelt Avenue" (look for Seventh Day Adventist Church sign). Follow Roosevelt through 2 lights then bear left to stop sign. Take left and go ½ mile, road curves right. Cross bridge and turn left onto Alden St. Natatorium is ½ mile down on right. |
